The South End boathouse contains over 30 different watercraft ranging from paddle boards and kayaks; to decades-old wherries and Vikingboats; to sleek 21' and 24' fiberglass open water racing shells.
The club's pride and joy however, is the South Ender, a 1915 six-man with coxswain racing barge. South End Rowers participate in numerous flat and open-water racing events throughout Northern California. You'll find South Enders at the Sausalito Open Water Regatta, the Lake Tahoe Regatta, the Petaluma Strait Row, the Head of the Estuary Regatta in Oakland and many other events.
